Who is Yuri?

Hailing from the vibrant port city of Veracruz, Mexico, Yuridia Valenzuela Canseco, known professionally as Yuri, rose to fame as a dynamic force in the music and television industry during the 1980s and 1990s. Yuri dominated the Latin American music scene with chart-topping singles like "Maldita Primavera," "Qu te Pasa," and "Hombres al Borde de un Ataque de Celos." Following her second feature in Playboy Mexico, Yuri was affectionately dubbed "la Madonna Mexicana," a tribute to the legendary pop icon celebrated for her constant reinvention.
