Elton John in San Antonio, Tx

This was the best EJ concert I’ve been to. He reached back into his beginnings with the song selection. Him and his guitarist where battling, very good, the percussionist was fantastic. This being his last tour, I am very glad I was able to go with my 3 sons and 1 of my grandchildren. He was so excited, this was his 1st of many more concert at the age of 8. I was in HS when I went to my 1st Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. These are moments I will always treasure. Thank EJ for the many memories you gave us last night. Best show ever. You are always welcome to come back to SA,Tx. ... Read more

Goodbye to a Legend

Elton still has the vocals of 30 years ago! He was fabulous. There will never be another Elton John! He played to the crowd well in San Antonio. Didn't rate a 5 as thought the guitars were so loud during songs it was drowning out Elton - he could have carried that concert on his own just sitting at the piano - his voice and piano skills still amazing!!! He changed the tune on several old classics, not preferred, but it was well worth it th final journey down the yellow brick road. Thank you Elon for decades of entertainment! ... Read more

More than just standing!

Anyone who gives EJ’s performance less than 5/5 because of a poor venue they were in or because some audience member blocked their view needs to get their head checked! This man, his career, and the 50 years of songs he gave the world is nothing short of incredible. The set, the sound, the song selection and the singer were all 5+! So sad I’ll never get to see this fabulous artist in-concert again! Long live EJ! ... Read more
