See the film and hear the music played live by the symphony
In 1993, Steven Spielberg unleashed Jurassic Park onto the world. A technical marvel that would change cinema forever, it remains the gold standard for cgi-heavy blockbusters, and made a whole generation fall in love with dinosaurs. Alongside the thrilling set-pieces, one of the film's most memorable elements was the music, composed by longtime Spielberg collaborator John Williams, A swelling, anthemic score, it's gone down as one of Williams' greatest achievements, alongside the likes of Star Wars and E.T..
Following the success of Raiders of the Lost Ark In Concert last year, San Antonio Symphony hope to repeat the trick with Jurassic park live in Concert, a showing of the classic movie with the symphony providing a live-to-picture playing of the score.
