Celebrate this Christmas With the Conspirare Choir
Founded in Austin, Texas in 1991 by celebrated American muso Craig Hella Johnson, Conspirare, which translates from Latin as 'to breathe together', is an ensemble choir of international renown. Made up of soloists from around the country, the Grammy-winning outfit reflects its multi-cultural makeup by performing and celebrating a wide-range of genres with a mission to use music to change lives and bolster the Texas community and the arts beyond.
Each year, the choir turn their talented voices to Christmas fare, serving up spell-binding arrangements that reinvent the classic holiday repertoire. A bold fusion of styles, this year's program is sure to tingle spines and warm hearts with its glorious harmonies and special guest appearances by Austin singer-songwriter Ruthie Foster, champion of the American song form from blues to gospel, jazz and soul, and Portland singer-songwriter, youth advocate and filmmaker Matt Alber.
