Great performance

Journey probably did one of their best shows that I've seen before and my family loved them. Def Leppard was also amazing but they were noticeably louder than Journey. Poor Steve Miller Band opened directly into the 6:00 pm sunlight and after about the first three songs was struggling as he wore his jacket in the 90+ heat. Only drawback that will keep me from going back is the 18.00 beer, 13.00 hot dog, 75.00 parking, and 6.00 water. You cant take a family any more. Ill just enjoy my CD's ... Read more

Def Leppard

Overall great show. Def Leppard's show had lots of energy, great visuals, and the band sounded very tight. As far as the other two, Journey and Cheap Trick not sure what was going on. I've heard Cheap Trick fairly recent and they were great. Not tonight. Combination of poor sound quality I believe had a lot to do with it. At points you couldn't hear vocals and certainly instruments. Just an all around BAD mix. As for Journey Neil Schone still has it and the rest of the bad was great. I feel the same bad mix contributed to their portion also. ... Read more

Such a great show- such a great respect & call to the old days

These 2 bands came out to the west coast (I'm sure played all over), in 2019. But my wife & I have been big fans forever & talked my folks into joining us for their concert at George in the Gorge (not many know how cool that venue really is), but anyway; they rocked it, and we all fell in love once again with really well-done classic rock! It was the first time in 29 years that these same bands had played together at this same venue (minus Steve Perry, of course {but here's a kicker... HE WAS THERE!!} Young crowds tended to drift off when Def Leopard left the stage; but for some of us, it was just beginning.. When Journey took the stage, they had a presence & a purpose. They made us cry, love, and want, all over again; truly. Sorry Steve, Arnel is great! He's not you; and we miss you, but he's still amazing. His charisma & charm is off the chart & the fact that he's so humble, thankful, and knows how wonderfully blessed that he is, just makes him so much more loveable! He gives us what we want, but reminds us of where we're from; and that's just hard to beat. He sings like a bird, and mostly sounds like you Steve; and I've finally come to a loss for words... Best concert I've seen in many years! I'd follow them over & over if they came back. We had just an amazing time & even my folks were impressed with the show. All good things! ... Read more
